1. What amenities are included in the rental?

There is fiber internet/WiFi, a range of kitchen appliances, outdoor patio with Nordic-style hot tub (add-on), smart TV with Netflix, game console/Blu-ray player with games and movies, a variety of books and board games, a dedicated workstation with printer, sustainable body care products, bathrobes, washer, dryer, & detergent, coffee/tea, and much more.

2. Is the rental close to public transportation, restaurants, or attractions?

Chablis is a small town, about 15 minutes away from Auxerre. Once you arrive to Chablis by car (personal or taxi), everything is within walking distance. Maisons Vaudesir is just 2 minutes by foot from the center of town where you will find a variety of great Burgundian restaurants. Chablis is also a great base to explore the rich Burgundy countryside and nearby towns.

3. Is there air conditioning or heating?

Yes! We have two reversible AC units - one on each floor.

4. Is the property suitable for children?

Yes! We offer a packable crib with high-quality Kipli mattress, high chair, infant bath, and staircase barrier - requested in advance.

5. Is parking available? If so, is it free?

Yes! The house borders a river and there is free street parking all along the river. Guests usually find parking within 5 meters of the house. A large parking lot is available for visitors to Chablis - this is 5 minutes away by foot. All parking is free in Chablis.

6. What is the maximum number of guests allowed?

We can accommodate up to 4 persons and 1infant (with provided bedding).

7. Are there any additional fees?

No. All fees and taxes are included in the booking price as seen in the checkout page (excluding optional add-ons*). *For example, we offer an outdoor hot tub that can be requested in advance during checkout for an additional fee.

8. Are there any special promotions or discounts for longer stays?

We have existing discounts for stays of one week or 28 days that are automatically calculated upon checkout. If you have a special request, please don't hesitate to contact us for more information.

9. Can I see more photos of the property?

Head over to our Gallery where we have a number of photos of the interior already available. If interested in anything in particular, please send us a message.

10. Is there a grocery store or convenience store nearby?

Yes, the closest convenience store is 250 meters (3 minutes walk) from the property. A larger supermarket is 900 meters (12 minutes walk). You will find 3 bakeries in the center, just steps away.

11. How far is the rental from the nearest airport or train station?

Paris Charles De Gaulle is 213km (2 hours by car) away. The nearest train station is in Auxerre, 20km (20 minutes by car).

12. What is the security like in the area?

Chablis is a very safe, small town of 2,500 inhabitants.

13. What types of beds are in the property?

We have one sofa bed with a high-quality, Queen-sized Kipli mattress. We have one high-quality, King-sized bed in the bedroom. In addition, we have one lounge/sofa just outside of the bedroom, as well as the ability to provide a packable crib with mattress for a child.

14. Are there any shared spaces or is the property entirely private?

The 72sqm house is made available entirely to our guests. The outside patio with table, plancha, and hot tub are in a shared courtyard with a neighboring house. There are no occupants in this neighboring house. Enjoy the tranquility!

15. Is the property in a quiet or busy street?

The house is on a quiet street on a bank of the river Serein. You'll have all of the benefits of being steps away from all of Chablis' attractions with very minimal car/foot traffic.

16. Are linens, towels, and basic toiletries provided?

Yes! All beds will have linens, you will find a set of towels for each guest, and shampoo, body wash, and body lotion provided. In addition, you will find bathrobes for each adult guest, toilet paper, and a small pantry for the kitchen (oil, spices).

17. What type of cooking equipment is provided in the kitchen?

We hope you will find everything you need for a short or long term stay. We offer a refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave, HOB, extractor, sink, dishwasher, cookware, dishware, and cleaning supplies.

18. Is there a minimum or maximum stay requirement?

We have a 2-night minimum and 28-night maximum requirement. If you have any special requests, please don't hesitate to reach out.

19. What type of security measures are in place?

The house is accessed via a smart lock. Your personal access code will be provided to you before your arrival. For the safety of our guests and the property, an external security camera monitors the shared courtyard and street. There is no view into the property.
