Eco-responsibility, an important value for us
At Maisons Vaudésir, we are committed to sustainability. Organic, local, short circuits and natural and healthy products speak to us. We have implemented some actions at our level:
Simple gestures at the house
- The walls are painted with Algo ecological paint (from Brittany, made with algae).
- Hygiene products: shower gel, shampoo, body cream, hand wash, dish-washing liquid, and house cleaning supplies are all made of natural ingredients, not tested on animals, and low-waste (refillable). Made in France from the Les Choses Simples brand.
- We sort all recyclable waste and limit other waste as much as possible.
- Zero single-use paper. We do not use paper towels. Instead, we provide cloth napkins, which are washable and reusable. Bamboo toilet paper and tissues, biodegradable and sustainable, from the Who Gives A Crap brand.
- Double push flush on toilets, thermostatic faucets on showers.
- LED bulbs for lighting.
Sustainability for you
- Selection of furniture made from sustainable and natural materials in France from the Kipli brand. We also have upcycled furniture.
- We favor local, regional, or French products as much as possible.
- A Moccamaster coffee machine with artisanal coffee from the region, as well as organic and French teas and infusions from the Green Ma brand, all without disposable capsules/bags.
- We favor the use of glass carafes and bottles and provide filtered water for our guests.
- An Aarke brand sparkling water machine is at your disposal.
