Hiking the vineyards
The hilly landscape around Chablis, with its vineyards and forests, offers a wonderful place for hikers to explore with plenty of options during their stay.
Between the rolling hillsides of the vineyard, walks around the Serein, or even walks in the woods, you will find something to satisfy all levels!
Many wine hikes are available around Chablis, including The Grands Crus de Chablis walk which crisscrosses the region through the Chablis vineyards. This walk is available in two versions, one of 6 kilometers (approximately 80 min) and the other of 4 kilometers (approximately 45 minutes). Small explanatory signs will guide you along the way from the Tourist Office. It can be covered on foot or by bike and is suitable for all levels!
For the more experienced, other circuits such as the Duchy Cross Trail (12 or 19 kilometers), the Gueux Trail (14 or 27 kilometers), the Clos Trail (13, 17 or 24 kilometers), the Retif de la Bretonne trail (23 km), or the Moulin des Roches trail (15.5, 23.5 or 33 Kilometers) are waiting!
Between the panoramic views of the vineyards or the waterways, you will be amazed!
