About us

Bonjour! We are Amina and José.

Living abroad (Canada) but deeply connected to Chablis, Amina's hometown, we have brought our passion for travel into our newly renovated second home.

In December 2022, we decided to follow our hearts and buy a unique 19th century house in Chablis, and transform it ourselves with the immense help of Amina's brothers (we are so grateful for their involvement) into our dream getaway.

We envisioned creating not only a place for personal rejuvenation and reset, but also a space to share with others, and that's how Maisons Vaudésir was created.

Why “Maisons Vaudésir”? Chablis is famous for its wine but also for its 7 unique Grand Cru appellations in the world, and Vaudésir is one of them. As the cottage is very close to this beautiful vineyard, we thought the name was appropriate for a place designed to be our getaway and a setting for others to create unforgettable memories.
